Jesus Is Lord
Before the movement, the podcast, the book and the business, there is the faith. Mika is a worship leader and gospel artist, and everything else on this site grows from that root.
Mika's stage training did not start at summits. It started in church in Tanzania, with a microphone and a congregation, and it never stopped.
In Seoul he served as a leader in the English Ministry of Yoido Full Gospel Church, one of the largest churches in the world. With the Salem Worship team he sang worship in Korean on the Seoul subway, and the clip passed two million views. Koreans met a Tanzanian who praised God in their own language before they ever heard his politics.
He writes and records his own music too. "Made for Jesus" came out in 2021 as a one-take music video, alongside years of worship sessions, covers and spontaneous moments on his channel, with releases on Apple Music.
Ask him how he walked out of five weeks in detention without bitterness and the answer is the same as the title of this page.
